The majestic magnolia is one of my favourite flowers. I fell in love with a giant magnolia tree when I visited Washington DC; its canopy of prettiness went on and on. Magnolias are actually one of the world’s oldest flowering plants, so no surprise they are symbols of nobility and resilience.
