Created from punched out solid metal these are the “Dot Matrix” printer dots in the form of a satelight dish – Measuring 360mm diameter and 90mm high
Justin’s famous flowers created from very old Scarifier Points from Western Australia’s wheatbelt … this piece has a small farm bird attached – Measuring 850H x 450W x 500D on solid blocks of steel.
This piece is exactly what I strive for when creating the perfect sculpture. The metal (found like this) is very old and using only three individual pieces to make up the whole piece it turned out perfect!

The Beams of light (pointy bits) eminating from these stars were used like little knives to pierce 3-4 mm into Jarrah sleepers used on the railway lines in Western Australia in years gone by.
So next time you see a Jarrah sleeper look for the piercings up and down each side of them – these penetrations help the preserving treatment soak further into the wood.
By using these precious parts as petals I help preserve their story forever…
