The Sun was shinning the Bees were buzzing.. the birds were singing.. Mother Karri tree is ALIVE –Â created from solid saw mill and farm steel – Measuring 810H x 500W x 200D
Created from the offcuts from hand cut love hearts – Old farm metals – Measuring 360H x 360W x 100D
The Beams of light (pointy bits) eminating from these stars were used like little knives to pierce 3-4 mm into Jarrah sleepers used on the railway lines in Western Australia in years gone by.
So next time you see a Jarrah sleeper look for the piercings up and down each side of them – these penetrations help the preserving treatment soak further into the wood.
