Created from a very large gold mining mill ball and a small one Measuring 700mm x 600mm x 130mm very heavey – can be hung on wall
The Beams of light (pointy bits) eminating from these stars were used like little knives to pierce 3-4 mm into Jarrah sleepers used on the railway lines in Western Australia in years gone by.
So next time you see a Jarrah sleeper look for the piercings up and down each side of them – these penetrations help the preserving treatment soak further into the wood.
